Benjamin made his opera debut in the world staged premier of Goldschmidt’s ‘Beatrice Cenci’. As the lead tenor role of Orsini, he received much critical acclaim in the national press and followed this with Poulenc’s ‘Dialogue of the Carmelites’.
After an appearance on ITV’s ‘My Kind Of Music’ he was spotted by the producer of the international dance show ‘Spirit Of The Dance’ and was immediately booked to open a new show, ‘One World’ in Reno, Nevada. During a 3 year stint with both shows, Benjamin played to huge events in American and European stadiums.
He opened the ‘Rugby World Cup’ at Twickenham with the National Anthem and Jerusalem and sang Nessun Dorma to close the ‘Bravo China 2000’ celebrations at the Millennium Dome accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Ben has also appeared in both ‘Jerry Springer – The Opera’ and ‘The Phantom Of The Opera.
Apart from his solo work, Ben is also in demand with his ‘singing waiters’ dinner floorshow for both corporate and private events.
