Annika spent years attending classes and involvement in amateur dramatics whilst she was growing up in her home town of Ipswich in Suffolk. She followed this with a degree at the Rose Bruford Drama School in London and went on to complete a year of study in Texas, US before finally graduating with a BA Honours 2:1 in American Theatre Arts in 2006.
She then set up residence in London and attended a number of auditions until she was successful and cast in a cabaret show in Turkey for six months. Following this, Annika was accepted into the resident theatre team for P&O and then spent the best part of five years at sea, predominantly for Thomson cruises on board The Spirit and The Dream.
She has now returned home to Suffolk and has established herself as a very popular and glamorous vocalist performing for all types of events at venues throughout the UK. Her latest venture has seen her taking on the role of Doris Day, producing her own one woman show about the life and times of the acclaimed actress and singer.
